This toy is alot of fun because it's also a key to [...]. I personally have a few of the toys for this website, however this particular bear I purchased for my brother. It is so soft and can take a beating when tossed around by a kid. The user interface on the website is very easy to navigate and colorful. You adopt pets, take care of them and decorate your home with the 'kinz-cash' or points you earn playing games on the site. I recomend to all ages :)

all webkinz are a really good buy no matter what one you get. I now own 14 of the furry toys and they do much more than sit on my bed. This little mouse is adorable (as a plush and especially on Webkinz World!) Our family loves playing Webkinz together. We all have several Webkinz pets and interact/play with each other (my young daughters LOVE being able to play computer games with both their parents and siblings all at once!) Webkinz is not as educational as Jump Start but it is fun and still provides some eduction and responsibility training to children of ALL ages. We enjoy playing with our children. Webkinz is highly recommended.

Purchased this webkinz for my 4-year old boy for Christmas. This was his first webkinz and since he was not much of a stuffed animal lover, I wasn't sure if he would like it. He absolutely loved it! He brought it to preschool to "share". He sleeps with it every night and carries it with him during the day. He loves how it "comes to life " on the computer. The computer games need supervision/help as he can't read yet, however. The dinasaur's neck is getting a bit flimsy from use and is leaning to the side. The rest of the dinasaur is fully intact.

I bought this for my son, who is into the Webkinz stuffed animals, his goal is to be a zoo keeper when he grows up. Anyway, I got the Manatee for his Easter basket for this upcoming Easter, and when it came I couldn't believe how big it was. It's so soft and cuddly, he is going to love it. It comes with a tag that you can play online with, and have a virtual house for your animal to live in online. You play games to earn money and that buys you stuff for your virtual manatee. It's really cool. He likes to trade stuff on the trading table when you get to play like your at a swap meet, and he loves seeing the other animals that's new to buy also. This online game shows them how to save enough cash so they can buy outfits and furniture for their virtual online pet. All my kids love Webkinz animals!

My son has had tons of fun playing online with his dragons. We own the Lava DragonWebkinz HM463 Halloween Lava Dragon Plush Animal,Emperor Dragon Webkinz Emperor Dragon + Webkinz Bookmark - New with Sealed Tag and Unused Code, and now the Citrus Dragon. While the other two have held up this one has pulled apart at several seems. My son does sleep with them at night but they certainly aren't abused. Overall its okay just wish it was better made.

This is our first experience with Webkinz, and all my kids love it. They are 11, 9 and 6. Joe and Jeff's webkinz share a house, just like they share a room. I love the ribbon unicorn. It is a very good toy for girls because my aunt gave it to me and i loved it. The feet always shimmer and you can braid the ribbons. If you see very closely, then you will see sparkles in the white hair. Babies really like them-make sure they don't steal them. She has flowers on its side. Great seller!!! my webkinz came 2 days before the estimate delivery. Wonderful product line. Company was smart enough to combine a cute cuddly stuffed animal with a computer based virtual world. Buy rooms for your pet, and decorate them. Take care of them, bringing them to the vet when they are ill, feed them when they are hungry, and "work" at your job or at other skills to earn money to buy items. Arcade and tournament games are often educational and simple to learn, although fun. They remind me of the original atari or cell phone type games. Overall, lots of value for your money. This toy is appropriate for children as young as 5, with adult assistance. Warning for adults: Once your kid has one, they will want all of them (and the first purchase gives your online rights for one year so you'll need another one in a year anyway!), and you might as well buy yourself one now. When the parent who first gave my son one told me this I didn't believe her. Now, my children have an account, as do both my husband and I. They are great, inexpensive fun! I am not, however, a fan of the now extended line that includes clothing for your webkinz, trading cards, and hygeine products-they are expensive and not worth the money. Stick to the pets! The Chocolate Lab is very soft and well made. It looks like a lab and as it is a Webkinz, it comes with the "secret" code to use on their website. I have purchased these for my nieces and son. (Ages 8-10) They play with the dog and also log on to the Webkinz site 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful.


Each Webkinz contains a code for a community website aimed at children. The nicest thing about this site is that it is the most secure community site that I've ever seen for a child. When they go to the site, they enter the code from the doll, choose a username and password. That's it. No giving email addresses or real names or addresses. The owners of the site really have no idea what the names or addresses of its members are! Just make sure to put the code somewhere where you can find it if they lose their username and/or password, that is the only way to retrieve it again.


Additionally, children cannot--anywhere on the site--input any personal information. They can play with their friends or even strangers, but to talk to other people they must use phrases that are already put into the system. For example, if they want to tell their friend hi while they are playing a game they would click the drop-down menu and choose the appropriate phrase and click on it to send that phrase to their friend, at which point their friend is given a list of appropriate responses!


As if just the plain fact of security wasn't enough, add into it that your kids are learning responsibility, as they have to care for their pet in the online world by taking him/her out for exercise, buying food for their pet, playing and interacting with the pet, and keeping it clothed. They learn about nutrition (health points go way up when the pet eats their veggies, or down when they eat a hamburger or too much candy), and see the results of their food choices (lose too many health points and your pet will need to go see the doctor for a check-up)and other health choices (exercise makes the points go up, not enough sleep makes the points go down).


But wait, there's more! The games are appropriate, engaging, and fun. My six year old gets frustrated on some other sites when a game gets too hard or complex. Here the games are just challenging enough to make your kids try a bit harder, and very addicting with real and engaging characters. The tournaments give you a chance to try your skills against other players, and there are games for every taste. I've even caught her grandfather online playing at 2 in the morning!

Our 8 year old grandson is a huge Webkinz fan and we have a chocolate lab. He absolutely loved the Webkinz because it looks exactly like ours. I think I want one for myself but I'd have to keep it away from our lab because she loves soft toys.

Our twin sons, elementary school aged, have truly enjoyed many of the incarnations of Webkinz. The hook for both the parents and children is in the adoption of the pet online. The children must play games and win points to purchase items from the store for their pets. It has some good fundamental concepts behind it, including that you need to earn money to buy things. It is much better than a dull old stuffed animal. My pharmacist has children and they are hooked as well. My only objection is that some adults try to collect popular limited editions and gouge the public on resale. Can we say Beenie Babies? That is no fault of the company, which I think is incomparable.

I bought this Webkinz to go in an Easter Basket and it had a hole in the neck. The company did offer to ship me a new one immediately but I did not want to deal with shipping the damaged one back and all the hassle. All in all, it did get here fast and the damage is in a seam so it is fixable, I just hope they take more time looking at further merchandise before shipping so it doesn't go out damaged. Thanks to them for the quick response time though. That is a huge plus!

Here I buy a stuffed animal thinking what's so great about it - but my daughter already has a webkinz and I knew you can play the games and take "care" of your pet online. So I figured my son should have that fun too. Turns out the games on Webkinz are very educational and also helps my six year old son with hand-eye coordination! So it's great! As for the stuffed animal? It is very durable and my son carries that thing everywhere! So it's definitely worth the price!

Let me start by saying: I could not care less about the internet bit. Tossed out the web link and registration number as soon as I disconnected it from the frog's leg.


It's a cute, soft, speckled frog with possibly the most expressive eyes of the entire webkins line. Certainly it's true out of the ones I've seen so far.


Want a frog? Taa-daa - he's a cute one to boot.

This Webkinz is very cute. It comes with a secret code that allows you to have access to Webkinz world ([...]). As some may argue, it is VERY cute both in webkinz world and in person. It is EXTREMELY soft and furry and absolutely adorable. I love how it has little claws as with a real koala (for climbing) and it is very difficult to leave behind; your child will want to take it everywhere they go. I promise, whenever your child sees this toy, they cannot resist but to give it a big squeeze. In my opinion, this stuffed animal looks cuter in person than in pictures of it online. This furry friend is fully poseable and the ears are soft and puffy.Overall, two words: LOVE IT!!!!
